Course Description: The Career Development webinar series was developed to provide support for RPNs developing, enhancing, and advancing their careers. It is beneficial that participants take part in all three webinars. Developing your career with available resources is beneficial in helping you succeed with reaching your goals.
Prerequisites: Participants must have access to a computer, and a hardwired internet connection (not wireless) and basic computer skills to participate in the webinars via Webinars OnAir. Participants will be required to use a Google Chrome browser to ensure the best audio and visual quality. Participants are required to review the corresponding modules on the RPNAO website for Career Directions, Mentorship, and Interviewing. It is also required to complete the activities for each module.
Program Delivery: The program consists of three separate webinars. Each webinar is 45 minutes and is held via Webinars OnAir from 1200 - 1245 on the set dates.

Course Description: The De-escalation series was developed to provide support for RPNs for early recognition of behaviors that can result in a potential conflict situation and to provide participants with non-verbal and verbal techniques to manage these behaviors.
Overview: The De-escalation series is designed to provide learners with support in recognizing behaviors that can potentially escalate and ways to safely de-escalate a situation. Live webinars require registration and are interactive to provide more content. However for your convenience they have been converted to self-directed learning module where registration is not necessary. Please view the modules at your leisure and successfully complete the quiz to receive your completion certificate.
