Thank you for accepting our invitation to speak at the RPNAO 61st Annual AGM and Conference which will take place at Four Points Sheraton, 1150 Wellington Roud South, London, ON N6E 1M3.  Here are some important dates and additional information.

Registration

Once you let us know that you have accepted our offer to present as a speaker or poster, we will automatically register you for the conference. Your complimentary registration includes all sessions on Thursday October 3 and Friday October 4, 2019, breakfast, coffee breaks and lunch. If you wish to attend the Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 3, 2019, you will need to register and pay for a ticket.

Bedroom Reservations: 

Special conference rates are available from Tuesday, October 2 to Friday, October 4, 2019. Please call 1 519-681-0600 to book and please identify yourself as being part of the RPNAO group. Sheraton will honour the rates below till September 6th.

There are three different options as follows:

  • Superior King - $129
  • 2 Queen - $129
  • Deluxe Tower Suite - $159

Bedroom rates Include a full buffet breakfast for single occupancy. Add $15 for each additional person.

Speaker Contracts –  August 9, 2019


Each speaker will be sent a speaker contract once they have confirmed participation in the event.  This will cover which portions of the program you will attend, audio visual needs etc.

*Please note that our standard audio visual is comprised of a data project and screen along with a computer. Larger rooms will have microphones.

Speaker Presentation Due Date – Friday, September 13th, 2019

Send your PowerPoint presentation to alison@fsel.ca. We need to test to ensure that the presentation retains its integrity. If you have embedded videos or very large files (larger than 2MB), please contact Alison for alternate instructions.

Poster Sessions

Set up time: Set up for posters will be Thursday October 3 between 2 pm and 4 pm. No set up will be allowed after 4pm on Thursday. Tear down will be after 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon.

Tear down time: Immediately after the closing keynote speaker and conference wrap-up which is anticipated to be 2:30 pm

Poster Size: This year we have changed the size of the poster so please check the dimensions carefully.  The poster boards are 6 feet wide by 4 feet high. As there is a metal frame around the edge, the live area that you must work with is 69 inchs wide by 45 inchs high. Posters can be attached either with push pins or Velcro.

What else to bring: We suggest you bring some handouts for people to take away if they want to review your topic after the conference. This could be anything from a business card with your contact details to a page or two summary of the project which should also contain your contact details.

Complimentary registration to the conference.
